COBIS World Debate Competition

This weekend, BSGC’s debate team competed in the COBIS World Debate Competition.

Impressively, they won the first four debates and qualified for the quarter-finals that took place on Sunday. Sadly, they lost this debate but all competed to an exceptionally high standard and showcased incredibly impressive public speaking skills in a highly pressurised environment. We were delighted to learn that three of our students were awarded Speaker of the Tournament awards. Congratulations to all of the students for their hard work and dedication to the school’s debate team.
